THE biggest con was TCS (Tata) - the company outsourced / offshores many of its back office functions and I was part of the retained organization that was responsible for its respective areas but which was dependent on offshore TCS employees for support. It was a frustrating disaster - TCS over promised and under delivered. Nielsen May love it due to cost savings but it was not a place that I wanted to be at for the intermediate or long term.
Also, at the time, annual merit increases were mediocre at best even for employees with near perfect evaluations and performance.
