Pros
- ability to work remotely for people with young children (up to 4yo) - stress-free environment - standard Corporate benefits (ok system, insurance, medical care - the basics) - looks well in the resume
Cons
- mandatory office presence for normal employees (min 60%) - salary adjustments not in line with inflation - old office building that falls apart - HR is a joke - no free parking for cars (unless for VP and above - paid) - IT from a previous era - everything works so slow. There's no chance to automate anything or implement any changes in existing ERP systems - job itself is super repetitive, boring and so dead-end - a lot of collaboration with India - any promotion doesn't come with a salary increase. If you stay long with the company it might very well happen that someone on a lower grade earns much more than you do. - most high performers don't stay more than 2yrs with the firm - tons of corporate cringe - if you don't negotiate yourself a good salary at the start the forget it will ever improve
