Pros

Meet nice co-workers, medical benefits, discounts, 401K.

Cons

There is no room for human error, it all comes down to black and white, polices and profit. If you can't perform due to any reason, illness, car trouble, sick child, public transportation is shut down due to weather...it doesn't matter, it is going to be an occurance against you. EVEN if you choose to use your PTO. If you're late because the bridge is up or there's a wreck blocking the bridge, the Max shuts down...your fault. I've never worked for an employer who didn't consider things out of your control. If your sick for more than one consecutive day, each day is an occurance, it should be one occurance for consecutive absence. The turn over is high, there's always an ad in paper for vacant positions. The attendance thing gets a lot of people quickly as we live in an area where there is high traffic volume and only two bridges connecting the two states for miles. If either bridge has an incident, drivers are stuck. If the Max breaks down, commuters are stuck. If the Governor declares our area a State of Emergency because of the extreme weather and we can't make it to work...if we call in and request to use our PTO until we can make it in....it's an occurance. The human element is gone.

Pros

Good work environment Pay is good Job keeps you busy

Cons

Lack of communication with leadership and coworkers. Leadership seems to have favorites Schedule takes too long to make Seems that there's people who would like the be full time or part time that are temporary right now aren't getting the positions. Feels like nepotism but maybe I'm wrong. Getting responses like you didn't get the job because you didn't answer your interview questions right just seems unnecessary The amount of drama happening is getting out of hand and leadership doesn't seem to care
