Pros

- A lot of investment in L&D, perhaps a bit TOO much training if you're an experienced recruiter but great for those starting their career in recruitment - Great team & culture - so much support across the business. Very much an open office with no hierarchy. Everyone's more than happy to help. - Upgrades in operating systems & AI advancements are promising to see and facilitating quicker turn-arounds with the job - If you're struggling with something / need some practical feedback it's very easy to speak to management and ask for support. If they can't help, they'll find someone who can

Cons

- Systems itself are clunky to learn initially and not the most user friendly (but talks of new systems being launched) - Promotion criteria can be a bit murky - Not the most competitive compensation wise, BUT the Hays brand does create a lot of opportunities for your desk and helps with quicker wins due to pre-established relationships. As recruitment jobs go it's much easier doing business development with the brand and marketing behind you as opposed to working for smaller firms - Although there is meant to be flexible working, it's not the 'norm' in the Darwin office. Working from home if you have a house inspection/doctors app, etc is however very much facilitated without question by management but would be nice to have 1 day a week, every week where you can work from home
