      Pros

      Many of the Tax Pros have been with the company doing taxes for decades and have a wealth knowledge. HRB invest a lot of time and money into training.

      Cons

      The company lacks direction, vision and leadership from the top. They do not learn from their mistakes and make changes accordingly, in fact they repeat the same mistakes. They do not value in put from the field who are customer facing and could give insight. They also do not value the front line employees from a compensation stand point. Cuts are made at the customer facing level while the CEO continues to line his pockets with multi million dollar bonuses.

      Pros

      If you get in the right office you can have amazing coworkers and can learn so much. You can gain a ton of experience and knowledge if you are willing to work and collaborate with other preparers. Training is robust and is there for you to utilize and work your way up to higher salary. The potential to earn a full years salary working for half the year once trained up to a higher level and build your book of business.

      Cons

      Communication is often not the best and in the offseason you are off boarded or get reduced salary and only work a day or two a week
