Pros
-Salary is OK for the area because the area is a Ghetto. -You know the company is stable b/c it is big but the turnover in this office is HUGE! -If you will sell your life to GEICO, you can become a supervisor pretty quickly. -Profit sharing is nice if you make it a full year but it gets smaller every year since I was hired. -We hear every week that our office has the best morale in GEICO, so I guess that is a pro... BUT I would hate to think what other locations are like if this is the best they can do!
Cons
-Where you really work... office is AWFUL!!!! Ask them where new employees park... get there early to board the shuttle! -Your team is probably good if you are under 25 but you have to be young to take the conditions and hang out after work with everyone to network. -It's a desert and the A/C and bathrooms BOTH go out...and you are expected to work through it. in 100 degree heat. The office is old and very dingy, but it is a "dry heat" :) -Place is a revolving door...You are ether pre-selected to be promoted or fired after a few months...If you apply here, keep your resume available! You may need it.
