Pros
They give opportunities to people with no experience. They're pretty good offering schedules a week/few days beforehand. Getting days off was easy. They work with your school schedule.
Cons
Little to no hours when you are free. Obvious favoritism. Lack of trust and interest in your abilities. Lots of uncomfortable/borderline discriminatory micromanagement based on physical appearance and "style." If you are not liked, management makes it passive-aggressively obvious by taking away hours or ignoring your requests for help in your section. It's hard to tell who is genuine. They won't fire you unless you steal or fail to show up for work, but they will stop giving you hours to encourage you to quit on your own.
