Pros
FDM Group has a large financial industry network. The downtime to getting into a position is not very long. The long part of the contracting process is the training should your position require it. The senior contracting agreement is not nearly restrictive as the entry level contractor position. You could theoretically leave at any time should another position come up. FDM and their partners have been really supportive and communicative during the COVID pandemic allowing for contractors to work remote. Health and Dental benefits are pretty good as well, I was honestly surprised.
Cons
There are some uncertainties whether or not you get converted over full time from the company you got contracted with. They have a first come first serve approach where they will put contractors in, more or less, the first position they find. As a result, you need to be open for relocation and education/training.
