Pros
You get experience after you graduate - the "bridge the gap" saying is true for FDM and you also get to meet lots of new people during training and make connections which could help later in your life. However, if you have other options - do not accept a job at FDM.
Cons
You do not get a choice in what line of IT you specialise in and you do not get an choice in what roles you go for, therefore you could end up with experience in an area that you are good at but not interested in. You have to commit for a minimum of two years or they will ask you to pay for the very very overpriced training in full and you have to be flexible to work around the entire UK even if your circumstances change or they promise you otherwise. Gives you the minimum training needed and sometimes train you in subjects that you already know. Do not pay you until you start your first role. Do not pay for overtime and they expect you to do it. Only joined as this was my only option and I'm counting down the days until the end of my minimum employment period.
