Management is absolutely terrible. I worked in centre at first where the managers had clear favouritism, would act all sweet in front of us but never helped with any requests. Two of my colleagues even had a serious incidents where children were acting way out of our scope and when they asked for support or to not have that child in their zone anymore for their own safety, manager just shrugged and said they're customers.
Then I moved to online which was a way bigger team so it does feel like you're on your own a little bit mostly other than teams, but one time I asked for a very urgent time off request which is usually fine and can just be added for cover, they absolutely refused to do that with no explanation - and everyone just kept passing the blame to me and sending me to other members of staff. Then, I got told 'fine we'll find a new tutor for that one session' but then they threatened me and said it's unauthorised, you're ruining our service just told us yesterday ?? I literally started crying and when I asked my manager LITERALLY to have a chat for my own mental health she completely ignored me, read my message like 5 days later and still never replied to date.
