Pros

- Smart and collaborative colleagues at the individual contributor level - Occasional hackathons with potential (if only they led somewhere) - Name recognition of Experian can help on your resume

Cons

- Lack of vision from the new CPO – The current product strategy feels outdated and reactive, with little sign of bold or forward-thinking initiatives. - Middle management could be more impactful – Many middle managers focus heavily on meetings and reporting, with limited involvement in setting direction, removing blockers, or supporting the team hands-on. - Innovation stalls quickly – While hackathons are hosted, ideas rarely make it past the event. There’s little investment in bringing creative concepts to life. - Uneven recognition under the new CPO – Since the new Chief Product Officer joined, there have been noticeable instances where certain individuals receive disproportionate attention and visibility, even when responsibilities are shared. This has created an environment where not all contributions are equally acknowledged, which can affect team morale and collaboration. - Culture resists change – A conservative approach dominates. Innovation and experimentation are not actively encouraged or rewarded.

Pros

Decent salary & benefits, monthly no internal meeting days

Cons

Friendly reminder that HR does not care about you. They care about staff with seniority, whom they will allow to retaliate despite that being against company policies. Think twice about reporting the higher ups because it will come back to haunt you, guaranteed. Also, AI is the only thing that matters anymore. Watching the volume of once-impressive colleagues become so single and simple minded through constant AI usage is not only disappointing but genuinely alarming. Thinking for oneself is no longer the standard, it seems, and speaking against such unfettered use of AI in all things will get you professionally ostracized.
