Pros

The casual dress code and relaxed office atmosphere is nice. You get to work with some of the world's biggest retailers. Hard work is eventually rewarded. There is an opportunity to travel. They have some fun company events and if you're a top-rated performer, you will get a healthy annual bonus.

Cons

Late night and weekend work is the norm. Poorly trained middle management plays favorites and can act very immaturely. Senior management encourages a competitive atmosphere amongst fellow employees, and standards for who gets promoted differ from team to team, causing some internal angst. Technology issues cause many headaches for client services. Rumors spread fast and senior management takes their sweet time before releasing any internal communications.

Pros

Decent salary & benefits, monthly no internal meeting days

Cons

Friendly reminder that HR does not care about you. They care about staff with seniority, whom they will allow to retaliate despite that being against company policies. Think twice about reporting the higher ups because it will come back to haunt you, guaranteed. Also, AI is the only thing that matters anymore. Watching the volume of once-impressive colleagues become so single and simple minded through constant AI usage is not only disappointing but genuinely alarming. Thinking for oneself is no longer the standard, it seems, and speaking against such unfettered use of AI in all things will get you professionally ostracized.
