Pros

Good benefits, fairly good training, great clients

Cons

The success and pay of a Branch Office Administrator depends on the success of the Financial Advisor. The FA position could be a revolving door which means as a BOA you do not get ahead nor earn bonuses. The BOA does the majority of the work (that does not involve a license) but the pay does not reflect that. Branches are typically 2 people so if you do not get along you are stuck. FA's may have a hard time meeting goals which means often times they blame lack of success on their BOA.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
