Pros

Good company IF you have a good manager.

Cons

First-time, awful, vengeful, petty individual promoted to manager in charge of a team of seasoned professionals. He tried to micro manage the team and rule by fear. He used favoritism to let one or two individuals skate by while holding unfair, and different standards to the other team members. We knew this because the entire team would meet to talk about the manager's behaviors. Worse, our manager's, manager did nothing to correct the issue from multiple complaints from the team. Bad management is systemic. Additionally, my complaint to HR was ignored. The team was disbanded save for the lousy manager who is still at Dell today. HR encouraged but blocked my attempts to move to another role ever though HR claimed they would help.

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
