Pros
There are a lot of mediocre people there so if you are a star, you will shine brightly and get rewarded.
Cons
The rewards you get will not be money. Dell is a very cheap company. They do not invest in their employees or morale. It's a turn em and burn em company. If you want to get industry experience and learn a lot, both what to do and what not to do, this is a good place to do a tour of duty. If you don't have time for that, then avoid it. The level of politics and internal competition between teams is insane. But if you decide you don't care, you can phone it in and collect a paycheck for a few years before anyone notices.
