When they come across former employees who have been successful, they realize that these employees will bring a winning attitude along with a drive to add value to their organizations. Talented People: Most of the people who work at Dell are top notched and share the passion for doing what is right for the organization and our customers. There is a healthy tension between the members of the cross functional teams that allows for better decision making.

Burn out: It is really a sweatshop! The company is really a global company that requires individuals to work over nearly every time zone throughout the World. There is really no downtime and one can easily become burned out. Although the company claims to be a global company, there is clearly an "Austin Centric" decision making process instead of letting teams make decisions on their own. Professional Development: The Sr Mgt team sticks to the "mantra" of you own your career without any real structure in place for individuals to successfully navigate through the company. Therefore, one is left with no real connection or loyalty to the organizations they are a part of.
