Pros

Dell always working forward to stay on the leading edge of technology. The people were great for the most part.

Cons

Dell has a phrase "drinking from the firehose" which in my case, was experienced frequently whenever I needed to learn things. Drinking from the firehose was particularly stressful and difficult on two occassions when moved into a new role and training was not provided. In those cases, training consisted of asking others how to carry out tasks and processes on a daily basis while also expected to meet KPIs and deadlines. Achieving quotas is expected in sales roles of course, but often quotas are not provided until close to the end of the quarter. Some team members make sure you know they don't like diversity, but that's in any place these days.

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
