Pros

I loved working for this company. I would recommend it to anyone. I worked at Dell for almost 10 years. The sales organization in OKC was awesome. I made some great friends, worked for some great managers. Dell was good to me.

Cons

There are many great managers at Dell. Then there are a handful that are not. I am not going to say anything negative towards the company as I loved working there. As a matter of fact, I would still be there if it were not for my former manager. I would like to encourage any employee there to not only interview for promotions and new roles, but interview and research the manager you could be working for. Sometimes things are not as they seem. Your individuality or what makes you successful is taken as a threat and could ultimately cause you to lose your way, get you black balled or even fired. This happened to me. Stay with Dell as long as you can. It is the best company I have ever worked for.

Thank you for taking the time to share an honest and open review of your experience with Dell. Although we are disappointed to hear that some of your recent experience wasn't as positive, it is great to hear that overall you had an enjoyable experience in your 10 years with the company. All of the very best to you! PS - We agree - our team members in Oklahoma City are amazing!

Pros

At this point? None honestly.

Cons

They did a complete 180 since I got hired. Came in as remote during COVID and now that they forced most people back to the office, they made us 3rd class citizens in the company. Can't get a raise, a promotion, any spiffs or even the same contests that the people in the office do. This company does not keep promises and has been constantly doing workforce reductions ever year like clockwork for 4 years now. The COO Jeff Clarke is an absolute clown as well, you have to go into the office dressed as business casual, but this guy goes to One Dell World in undersized lame t-shirts every year. Hypocrisy at all levels of this company. Just looking for a good opportunity and I am out, after talking to my co workers I feel like 70-80% feel the same. The tools also suck and are down half the time as well.
