Thank you for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that you value our focus on work-life balance, timely pay, and job security. Ensuring our team feels supported and secure is a top priority for us. Your feedback reinforces our commitment to maintaining a positive work environment. However, we understand your concern regarding salary hikes, incentives, and recognition. We understand how important these factors are for our team’s motivation and satisfaction. As an organization, we are committed to ensure pay-equity and rewarding meritocracy which are foundation of our pay philosophy. Following the same, we evaluate the applicability of increments for all employees during the pay cycle, considering the current economic scenario, benchmarking against peer groups, and internal factors such as parity and performance. In contrast to the recognition, it is very important to us at Capgemini, and we have several ways to acknowledge exceptional work. At the organizational level, we offer prestigious awards like the Excellence in People Leadership Awards (EPLA), Innovation Award, and Long Service Awards. Within our Business Units, we have awards such as the Technological/Functional COE Award, Innovation Award, Super Team Award, Project Star Award, Excellence in Customer Delivery, People Leadership, Growth & Winning New Business, and Engagement Profitability. Additionally, we celebrate achievements with special events like the "Women for the Future" awards, which recognize women’s contributions to innovation, sustainability, and talent within Capgemini India. We also have various recognition and rewards (R&R) programs, including discounted Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), variable pay, and our internal recognition portal, CLAP, which encourages peer-to-peer appreciation. These initiatives are designed to highlight significant contributions and support our people leadership goals. For more specific details, we encourage you to please reach out to your people manager or BU HR.

Pros

there are no pros for this company

Cons

I was laid off after spending several months on the bench, with "lack of available projects" cited as the reason. However, another consultant in the same role who was also without an active client engagement was retained. As a woman and racial minority, I could not ignore the disparity in how these decisions appeared to be made. Before my termination, I reported being recorded without my consent and raised concerns about conduct that I believed reflected implicit bias. I was referred to as "URM" instead of by my name or role, encouraged toward race based employee resource groups rather than meaningful career opportunities, and repeatedly advocated for fair project placement while on the bench. My employment ended shortly after I raised these concerns. Following my termination, I pursued the matter through the appropriate internal and legal channels. I provided documentation supporting my concerns and gave the company multiple opportunities to investigate and resolve the issues. Rather than meaningfully addressing the evidence or acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations, the company denied wrongdoing, offered what I viewed as a nominal severance, and declined to accept accountability. Employees deserve confidence that concerns about discrimination and retaliation will be investigated objectively and fairly. My experience left me with the opposite impression.
