Pros

Established company, good environment definitely not toxic in anyway, lot of people willing to help, pay is solid, different ways to get involved and use your skill set. Mostly very nice people, alot of people willing to help. For a first job out of college, its pretty good. Its a good company to work for generally.

Cons

They are way short on projects right now overhired the past 2 years and are paying for it now. Have ended up laying off alot of people who were there <1 year due to not having work for them. Elephant in the room is you really cannot afford that much bench time even if they tell new hires "You are safe we really do everything to avoid laying off grade A's for bench time especially". They arent particularly upfront about this relative to the risk you are at if you hit several months. I got lucky and was put on a project early on that was good, others I know were not so lucky. There is also a ceiling on your upward mobility in this position as an entry coming out of college/breaking into tech. Many of the best employees I know end up leaving within 1-2 yrs for something more fulfilling(starting to realize I might go down this path soon). This is a good company I would ordinarily recommend people apply and work for. However, given how they have far too many employees relative to projects, have been abruptly laying off all grades of employees and arent really in a position to help develop careers with real guidance, I would at least place those caveats to consider for the time being. Still can be a good choice, just dont go in blind. Also this stuff can change fast the outlook could easily be meaningfully better if you read this 6-12 months from now.

Cons

I was laid off after spending several months on the bench, with "lack of available projects" cited as the reason. However, another consultant in the same role who was also without an active client engagement was retained. As a woman and racial minority, I could not ignore the disparity in how these decisions appeared to be made. Before my termination, I reported being recorded without my consent and raised concerns about conduct that I believed reflected implicit bias. I was referred to as "URM" instead of by my name or role, encouraged toward race based employee resource groups rather than meaningful career opportunities, and repeatedly advocated for fair project placement while on the bench. My employment ended shortly after I raised these concerns. Following my termination, I pursued the matter through the appropriate internal and legal channels. I provided documentation supporting my concerns and gave the company multiple opportunities to investigate and resolve the issues. Rather than meaningfully addressing the evidence or acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations, the company denied wrongdoing, offered what I viewed as a nominal severance, and declined to accept accountability. Employees deserve confidence that concerns about discrimination and retaliation will be investigated objectively and fairly. My experience left me with the opposite impression.
