Pros

- Most people are awesome to work with. Some of the higher-ups are really nice and seem to care about you - Health Insurance is really good and cheap - Decent Work-Life Balance - Can be an awesome place to work with a few modifications

Cons

- Performance is broken down into 65% Core(skills, delivery, etc) 15% on Commercial(Client being billed) and 20% Community. TBH community should be 0%. Some people are able to do it during working hours but many opportunities are on the weekend. It seems like wage theft. The community portion should not be forced onto people. - Pay is 20-25% below market value and HR doesn't negotiate. Probably why a lot of people leave. There is a difference in wage depending on where you live, even in a remote position which does not make sense. - Very good leaders often leave and the bosses stay. It seems like something that needs to be addressed. - Sometimes you can be assigned to one job that does not align with your skill set.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to read that you enjoy working with your Capco colleagues and many of the benefits offered by the firm. Regarding your points on Community, many employees are keen to get involved in different aspects of running and shaping the firm, from our affinity groups and training to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and wellbeing. Employees may choose to get involved to varying degrees and are rewarded accordingly. We regularly engage in compensation benchmarking surveys to ensure that employees are fairly rewarded and also recognized for outstanding performance. We recognize that on occasion, business needs and individual career aspirations may not perfectly align, and individuals may be placed on a project which does not fully utilize their skillset. In these instances, we will always look to move someone to a different role/project when possible and also assist individuals in getting the best out of the current role. If you would like to have a further discussion regarding any of your concerns, please feel free to reach out to your HR Business Partner.

Pros

Varied client work — Different clients and project types, which keeps things interesting. Real project mobility — You can move between projects when you advocate for yourself (within reason). Approachable leadership — Senior leaders are open to conversations if you reach out. Good development resources — Plenty of training and growth opportunities if you take advantage of them. Strong teams — Colleagues are smart, capable, and great to work with. Entrepreneurial environment — New ideas are encouraged, and there’s room to take initiative.

Cons

Long hours vary by project — Like most any professional job, some engagements require extended hours for prolonged periods, but work–life balance really depends on the client and team. Additional internal responsibilities — Depending on level, there can be a significant amount of firm‑support work outside of client delivery. Domain alignment not guaranteed — You may not always be staffed on projects that match your domain expertise. Coaching alignment constraints — Coaching relationships are tied to domain, which limits flexibility in choosing formal mentors. Long engagements (sometimes) — Some projects run for long durations or through multiple extensions. It can provides stability but may reduce variety in client and project experience depending on what you’re looking for.
