Pros

Compensation is fair Well respected company Work hours can (potentially) be flexible, depending on team and work schedule. Usually only a few hours of budge room, but this allows employees to enjoy group sports on a weekly basis

Cons

Team silos don't encourage collaboration/knowledge sharing Not a lot of opportunity for self-development Passive aggressive tendencies between some colleagues Once leadership has decided on a project, the course is set. Work on that project will continue whether or not it seems to be a good fit to the teams on the ground. Transparency on decision-making at this level could be improved, but that's one of the realities of a 11k+ organization.
