Pros
The pay is good, the work can occasionally be interesting, and the company makes the right products at the right time. Management is pretty flexible about your schedule as long as the work gets done.
Cons
There is very little chance of career advancement unless your boss gets hit by a truck, the schedule can occasionally get brutal, and it is pretty easy to get stuck doing the same thing forever. No effort is made to advance anyone's technical skills.
