There is a lot of work to do all the time. The work can be challenging, but it can also be repetitive and tedious at times. The sky is the limit and it's up to you to reach your full potential.
Cons
People are too focused on their own work to help you. If you are new, you are expected to already know a lot already which is why they prefer Master's students.
