A complete mixed bag, weighing on the negative side - Account Management Booking.com Employee Review

Pros

Well known brand, draws people in. Some travel discounts.

Cons

Micromanagement, top down unrealistic sales goals (little to do with actual account management in that department these days, more like sales telemarketing). Uncompetitive pay & pto, also they demand hybrid work. HQ wants to track people's every move, dictate how they have to talk to clients, how often and what has to be discussed - there is no trust. Teams locally have little say in what the market needs vs what HQ says they have to sell to partners by any means necessary. If you don't - you will get a low performance review and no bonus pay. Also because they still have an aged location-based model, it's hard to advance unless you're willing to leave your life behind and move.
