- the company's 5 new principles are contradictory to what the Tech team is in real life - nepotism, lying, weak backbone, personal politics, empire building, using the position of power to mute others, are the hallmark of Product and Tech Leaders. And it is getting worse -if you are a hardcore SDE or technical person, stay away -the most black-box tech organisation I have seen in my 13 years. Decisions are made hush-hush, even org changes are done quietly, the VPs prefer to stay in hiding so as to avoid any uncomfortable questions from SDEs, anyone who challenges the VPs or has the courage to ask difficult questions can quickly get into bad books and taught a lesson during performance review
