Pros
-The pay was decent -Great learning experience for a young professional -Work with Great People
Cons
-Corporate pressures you to hit unrealistic metrics -Sales and service team engage in unethical behavior due to this relentless pressure -Customer service is preached, only to learn that at AUS there is no such thing as customer service -Price increases as big as 40% passed to customers -Always understaffed -Trucks and building maintenance is poor -Production shortages (up to 30%) -60-70 hour work weeks -Always doing someone else's job -Upper management fosters a toxic environment, from the VP down -Everyone gets written up. ALWAYS. Employees are constantly threatened, causing unnecessary tension. -Management is constantly pinned against Route reps (Who are union) -You will get a car allowance, it is not worth it. You may want to buy a Prius. -Quality of linen and uniforms that Aramark provides is poor -You will be expected to sell adjacencies to your current customers... who hate Aramark, it is nearly impossible unless you resign them with large price deviation and adjacency built in. -The company worships "Yes Men," independent thinking is shunned upon
