Pros
- This is a great entry level hunter sales job. You will learn how to dial for dollars, cold call, learn customer priorities, create sales presentations and close business. - You are totally autonomous and flexible with your time. The compensation can be fantastic if you succeed (200k+) and solid for an average AE's (80k-90k). - I have a great manager, a great regional VP and a VP of Sales that all know me personally and truly want me to succeed. - Hit your numbers and they will treat you like a King!
Cons
- The job can become stagnant for career driven folks with limited promotion opportunities and little reward for employee retention. - Activity/Metric driven management that does not respect that experienced folks know how to fill their pipeline. - The operations culture is far behind the sales culture, this create a resistance and lack of team mentality - not everyone feels like they are winning when we win new business. - The company has a mixed reputation in the field and you will find your fair share of those we have burned in the past - wear your riot gear.
