Pros
The benefits package good. The industry overall is fun. There are many perks; incentives, trips, events--must seek them out. In-person training is very good.
Cons
Work-life balance minimal, 'gotcha' culture, difficult to guage upper management strategy & goal-setting due to high turnover (5 direct superiors in less than 3 years), 'ready, fire, aim' transitions & lack of support with problems, responsibilities escalate without compensatory adjustment, used/recycled equipment in constant need of repair, self-gratification for promotion prominent, relocation compensation very slow-moving process, frequent double-up/retraction in direction & planning, 70hr work-weeks common (salaried).
