Pros
Amazon gives you the opportunity to work on projects that have worldwide impact. Even if you are expected to be a good SDE you have plenty of time to catch up and a lot of resources for learning. People there are great and the salary is really good.
Cons
I have been just a couple of weeks here but I think that when you start working here you feel a little overwhelmed by the amount of new information and also the pressure is high but it is also mainly subjective as you will feel that pressure because you want to do it right.
