Pros
- fast paced - interesting work - always shipping is addictive
Cons
- no process (its day one every day and that is not a good thing) - high level politics force astounding attrition - limited growth - 80 hour work weeks for L6 (Senior) staff If you do not change teams every year, it is likely you will get managed out before you realize your RSUs, so don't bet the farm on any total comp offered. There is little if any career development unless you luck out on a decent manager and skip manager, but even in those cases, there is no stability in reporting chains.
