Pros

Strong Exposure to Amazon Warehouse Processes Opportunity to steer cross-functional teams towards implementation of High Impact projects Opportunity to travel across Amazon sites

Cons

This role offers little to no value and can negatively impact your career. There is a lack of structure and support from management, and poor alignment between central teams and site leadership. Instead of collaboration, there is internal competition over who gets credit for savings, which leads to unhealthy politics. Process Engineers are given aggressive targets without the necessary backing, and success often depends more on local leadership dynamics than actual performance. During my tenure, 5 out of 9 engineers in the role exited, reflecting the instability and lack of support. Overall, this is not a role I would recommend.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
