Pros

You can earn whatever you earn selling insurance to companies.

Cons

You have to generate your own leads. This includes cold-calling, canvassing, and going into places everyday. People do not want to hear from insurance companies and will not ask to be called.

Pros

Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

Cons

No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
