Pros

There are some good people there, though not many. In the time i was there they lst everyone who had an actual technical understanding.

Cons

Where to start? Management who got where they are by sucking up have instilled an environment of sucking up. This has come from the very top. Right now they go on about leadership and management but fail to look up to technical excellence. The capture of URS has been mooted as genius, well provided URSs recent oil and gas servicing contract arm continues to grow, It Defense contracts stop falling to pieces, its decision to jump in to the middle east is not a case of jumping into late in to a revenue constrained over saturated market and its ability to avoid being sued as it is in Brisbane due to poor performance and criminal negligence is stopped, it should be great. If you want to learn your profession avoid, if you want to suck up join

Pros

Decent company, good stock plan, good people who want to see you grow

Cons

Very remote management makes things hard, very little team work is locally siloed so its hard for managers to understand the boots on the ground view. Managers are great people but spread very thin, sometimes they accept work before having staff for it(classic consulting move)
