Pros

Very chill vibes in my department and the people are very nice (Sustainability and Decarbonisation Advisory - Buildings and Places) No expectation to work overtime even as a graduate (we can work extra hours but we get those back as A/L) Good compensation package - paid medical insurance, 25 days holidays (plus bank holidays) + ability to buy 10 more Flexible working hours - no minimum days on the office, can work at any time of the day. Work with many experts in their field and get to work on big government projects London office has many international people

Cons

Small salary increase around 3-4% and no end of year bonuses Hard to get promotions in the London office, people usually get promotions after 2 years in their role. Easier to get promotions in other offices No working from home from abroad Large income inequality between graduates and upper management

Pros

Decent company, good stock plan, good people who want to see you grow

Cons

Very remote management makes things hard, very little team work is locally siloed so its hard for managers to understand the boots on the ground view. Managers are great people but spread very thin, sometimes they accept work before having staff for it(classic consulting move)
