Pros

Career advancement, however this is due to high turn over rate, people change positions constantly to not deal with the bs.

Cons

The WORST job I've ever had, i almost died due to severe stress , they are in to make money and that is about it, management is a puppet of the directors, directors do not care for their employees, i started in employment tax the worst department . Management is tone deaf they are aware of how horrible is the stress yet the directors do not care if the account managers are struggling. Training is horrible to the point you don't learn anything and its basicly your job to. figure it out on your own. I had various meltdowns due to severe stress and depression this job caused me for over a year. They have horrible turn over rate people quit in months again due to severe stress , they make a lot of money and refuse to increase salary, if you start as an account manager know that they severely under pay you that job is easily a 50k job but they are ok paying 21$ , those 21$ per hour are not worth your life. Every department is just as bad the only pro is that there is a lot of career advancement however this is due to high turn over rate everyone quits as soon as they see how stressful and the amount of work just don't match the pay. Healthcare is super expensive the plan is old however they make so much money offering mediocre plan that they wont save it ADP is in for the money nothing else they do not care about employee work life balance and they do not care about their people. They even suck at employee engagement.

Pros

- Established company with a long history and relatively stable business operations. - Provides a sense of job stability compared to many organizations navigating rapid changes in the current AI-driven market. - Lower risk of frequent restructuring or large-scale layoffs than many high-growth technology companies. - Opportunity to work with experienced employees who have deep institutional and domain knowledge. - Predictable work environment that may appeal to individuals seeking long-term stability over rapid change. - Strong choice for professionals who value job security and a steady career path in an uncertain economic climate.

Cons

- Documentation is limited or rusted, and many operational processes lack clear runbooks or standardized procedures, making onboarding and troubleshooting more difficult than necessary. - If you're coming from a modern, fast-paced engineering environment, the organization may feel behind current industry practices and tooling. - Internal politics can sometimes outweigh technical merit or execution. - There are teams with very long-tenured employees where change and innovation can be difficult to drive. - Decision-making often involves multiple layers of approval, resulting in significant bureaucracy and slower execution. - Processes can move slowly, and collaboration is not always transparent across teams, leading to inefficiencies and occasional confusion around ownership. - In some areas, roles, responsibilities, and operational processes are not clearly defined, creating unnecessary chaos and inconsistent ways of working. - Engineering standards and best practices vary considerably between teams, making cross-team collaboration challenging. - Organizational change tends to happen slowly, which can be frustrating for employees who are focused on modernization, automation, and continuous improvement.
