Pros

Good mission, company working toward social good in an area that needs it. Management really wants the company to succeed. Generous maternity/paternity leave policy, great for new parents, especially with flexible hours/WFH. Culture feels very open, not competitive

Cons

Stressful work environment, unpredictable and oftentimes long hours, little balance Work is judged by quantity, and deadlines are so strict that it becomes difficult to learn anything since everyone's overworked "Unlmited" PTO but most people take <2 weeks/year (and you're have to be available on vacation). Mgmt has talked about D&I but company/csuite is super white

Pros

The mission, maybe? Charter schools need lots of help, but not when they treat you like an indentured servant

Cons

1. Excessive and unbearable workload, with crazy expectations. If you perform well, you will be assigned more work without added assistance. Then you'll be placed in PIP because you're not producing the same results. 2. Leadership is all talk and bluster: a) They talk a lot about DEI. But the top brass is hella white. b) "We are here to support you". But when things get tough, your manager response will either be: a) "be more proactive", or; b) "I'm sorry you feel that way, this has never happened before, you're on PIP now"

Pros

The company tries to make this a fun place to work.

Cons

There is no work life balance. Expect clients to contact you outside of normal business hours. If you don't drink, you might be uncomfortable working here.
