Pros

CEO and COO are sincere beyond what I would hope from those roles by a huge margin. Very easy to approach because they legitimately care. Much of that care and attitude for their company is based on having a huge emphasis on office culture, but also that everyone feels truly included and part of the fam. Being a sudo-introvert whose previous 6 years were spent constantly building, creating, testing and fire fighting with a team of veterans who simply needed a nod to know how to finish an entire project (slight exaggeration), the extra attention at EPCVIP is still somewhat overwhelming, but in the way that I would feel when someone is lavishing me with gifts.

Cons

Don't know this is even a con, but there is an unnecessarily high emphasis on working on site. So much so they were trying to get us all in there as necessary workers. Mildly unfortunate to see as the rest of the tech world finally saw what so many devs already knew, which is going remote has a huge number of advantages like freedom of movement with tasks, full control over your focus, no distractions from shoulder tapping or the types that need eyes on to believe someone's doing what they're asked (i haven't seen that at EPCVIP, i'm speaking generally), and of course the low or no overhead achievable as a remote company.

Pros

The culture of this environment is like no other job I've experienced. Everyone here is extremely friendly and go out of their way to try and help you, it genuinely feels like a family. Upper management has an open door policy and always encourage you to ask questions and bring ideas. The pay is very competitive with many benefits. Company trips to Hawaii or Las Vegas, and Friday lunches. Kitchens are always stocked with snacks and you can make requests for your favorite snacks!

Cons

The parking lot gets filled pretty quickly and if you leave for lunch, you will most likely struggle finding another spot.
