Pros
Employer encouraged me to set my own hours, tasks, and do what I thought needed to be done. Many employees had a knack for sticking together to do what needed to be done for the company to succeed.
Cons
Communication between management and employers was lacking, leading to no clear direction, finger pointing, and reprimands for those who did not follow management's ideas, whether communicated or not. If an employee was able to point the finger at another, their job was safe. If not, they were let go. Expectations not communicated included working overtime without charging the company and being willing to work seasonal (full-time to overtime during fall and part-time the rest of the year) while being offered full-time employment at hire.
