    I have been working at ENMAX full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Good benefits and work with plenty of volunteer opportunities. Enmax offers programmes that provides exclusive mentorship training and leadership opportunities. It is a huge change from the male-dominated company 10 years ago.

    Cons

    Upper management (Directors and VPs) who have risen rapidly in recent times have no respect for Enmax's history that has been established for more than a hundred years. To them, it's more about personal power and fame than about making Enmax a better company. More experienced and competent upper management was either forced aside, terminated, or viewed as a remnant of the past. Corporate engagement plan is being dealt with in a very robotic manner. It's very clear that the plans I've been given are to dissuade my team from giving low ratings in our next engagement survey because of the trouble I put them through. I assume this plan will not make my team happier or more engaged; merely a way to silence them.

    Change management from old school way of working to more proactive is slow. But the right people are there to make these changes

    Pros

    Ok pay for student Gym if you want to stay fit

    Cons

    Some times works can be repetitive and boring, well it a job. The food from the cafe was overprice tho.

    Pros

    -Good benefit and pay -Stable work environment -Friendly coworkers at main office, not sure about other locations

    Cons

    -Many leaders promoted in the past 3-4 years are not qualified -Bad company culture, especially for engineers -Salary freeze for engineers since 2015 -Lots of unexpected layoffs since late 2018 -Work life balance can be screwed if you have a bad supervisor/manager -No promotion opportunities for hardworking engineers
