Pros

parking spaces, free fruit, milk, bread and other condiments, sports&social

Cons

* a prime example of a rat race * some managers (let's call them ratagers) don't want to stoop that low to talk to their team members honestly and listen (i know, my bar was set too high) * ratagers treat their subordinates like air - don't aknowledge they exist in the same physical space time continuum * ratagers resort to bullying and are plain rude (or just ignore you if they can) * a lot of politics and kindergaten fights * no real action, ratagers love talking a lot especially in meetings, preferably as many as possible, maybe some global gathering for loads of money before the subject is changed * no interest in investing in technologies (oldies are not always goodies, IT is not music or wine) and training existing staff (so if you wanna learn anything new - run,Forest! RUUUUN!) * if you think you might develop any new skills in teams that do use newer technoligies than java 6 make sure you got a proper training from Tramp staff and that your managers at least somewhat likes you because ratagers in their naturtal habitat tend to act upon their personal feelings * if you're hoping for regular salary bump either become a rat or a blackmailer * ratagers rarely know what they're doing. they just have overblown egos that need to be petted and adored * ratagers are proud of their corporate values that have absolutely no reflection in reality (we can always make negatives into positives, right? these are more like false positives) * ratagers love to have their self-congratulatory cake with a 'google of a travel industry' cherry on top. in reality it's a pile of manure in a fancy package * ratagers apart from aformentioned cake feed on panic, intimadtion, threats and more meetings and action points. * if you like rodents (there might be some snakes there too so make sure you also like reptiles) this is a perfect place for you! * otherwise don't come near with a barge pole.

Pros

- Not too many: Bread, Milk, coffee and tea

Cons

- 10% of your bonus is taken to hide the over running projects. Yet the CFO bonus is big enough so he can come to work in a posh new car. - Fast and Dynamic is HR way of covering up for poor management. We don’t work on new and exciting projects. Its really spending 40% of your time fixing the mess and been shoved from one crisis to another. All self-inflicted!! - The majority of our customers are pushing back on agile because we make impossible commitments and fail to deliver costing us and the customers - The development stack is old. There is not time to keep ourselves up to date with new technology - We deliver features that are not Dev complete or not fully tested. - It’s a company driven by sales. We will sell anything to get our fingers in the door and then use Agile to lie our way in. - No business Model - Management laughing at the issues we have and saying that is the DLX way - Meeting upon meeting to have more meetings for the sake of meetings. Too many incompetent managers who just want meetings to keep busy. - No communication between Product Owners and Sales. This results in sales of Products and features that don’t exist. This just ends up in another crisis. - Product owners are becoming Business Analysts. DLX is no longer a Product house. DLX no longer has an excellent product

Pros

Health care Pension Fresh fruit Sport and Social group is very active and quite awesome Fiona is the best receptionist and a very nice person to work with

Cons

-Managers here like to use the term "resource", not "person", for them you are just a number and they will make sure for you to remember that - Non technical people decide how much time developers will work on features - Company is driven by sales, promising to the customer anything they want to hear, just to sign the contract - Completely unrealistic deadlines - Company keep saying we are an "agile" company, but in reality we are just using sprints as mini waterfall - Managers do not have a slight clue about how the product work and they possibly don't even care - there is NO documentation of the product, every time you need something, you need to find and ask the right person - product is effectively owned by a partner company (EPAM) as the majority of the developers working on the product are hired as contractors from it. - Managers know the estimations are unrealistic, but they don't care - they advertise that we are using latest technologies like Spring boot Java 8 etc, although most of the teams except one are still using Java 6 - Quality of the code is not a metric to rate developers. You just need to deliver on time, doesn't matter if it will break production in 2 months time, customer will pay the support fee
