Pros

– Competitive compensation – Highly skilled and experienced professionals across teams

Cons

– Frequent changes in the company’s strategic direction, which repeatedly result in mass layoffs (four rounds within the last two years). – Regular involvement of external consultants introducing large-scale process changes instead of incremental improvements. – One of the recent transformations, based on the “clientocracy” approach, significantly disrupted established collaboration both within and between teams, leading to stagnation and a decline in overall process efficiency.

Clientocracy: or how to ruin people's morale strategy

Pros

+ Excellent financial motivation: The compensation package is a significant advantage. Salaries are very high, well above market average. The benefits package is also top-notch: private health insurance from day one, hobby compensation after probation, numerous discounts, and other perks. All employees are eligible for quarterly bonuses, which substantially boost overall income + Great work-life balance and support: The work schedule is flexible and can be discussed with your manager. The company provides excellent conditions for comfort, including remote work options and high-quality equipment. The HR team is very helpful with any questions. There is a strong, sometimes excessive, focus on employee well-being + Stable and predictable environment: If you focus on your core responsibilities and maintain a steady performance, the work environment is quite predictable. Decisions from line managers are usually clear and reasonable

Cons

- Lack of strategic direction ("Clientocracy"): The most challenging aspect is the top-down implementation of initiatives like "clientocracy" without a clear vision, strategy, or measurable plan. This leads to inconsistent interpretation across teams and makes the concept feel utopian. Middle management is left without adequate support, and external consultations are often unhelpful - Ineffective onboarding: Onboarding is a major failure point. Despite rapid headcount growth, there is no proper immersion process. New hires are thrown into the deep end from day one, which negatively impacts productivity and alignment - Rigid and copied management practices: Management approaches are often blindly copied from other companies, despite having different business models and clients. Decisions seem driven by methodology checklists rather than logic, creating a disconnect between leadership's vision and the reality on the ground - Culture of uncertainty: There is a persistent, underlying fear of sudden layoffs due to past experiences. This creates anxiety as employees are unsure if or when another wave might occur and how to prepare
