Darwin AI has an employee rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars, based on 18 company reviews on Glassdoor which indicates that most employees have a good working experience there.
This was the worst job experience I’ve ever had. Dave and John don’t know how to run a company. They don’t believe in managers and think everyone can manage themselves, which maybe works in theory, but not reality. Dave and John have a back and forth power struggle and employees fall in the middle of their chaos. The teams are really cliquey and cut throat because jobs are so unstable, it’s everyone out for themselves. Don’t work here.
I guess it’s better than nothing, and if you’re into the no-structure startup environment I this may be for you.
Cons
Benefits are basically bare minimum, the culture is not welcoming, and the stress is not worth the salary. Let it serve as a warning that employees spend no more than two years here. Everything, from the glitchy software to the leadership, is just plain chaotic.
