CEO needs to step back and distance himself from the business. He considers it a small ‘family run’ business so expect to be asked to do jobs which in no way relate to your role - e.g clean the office; lug hardware to a new office; pick up post etc Small team - no opportunity for scaled personal career growth. Vast discrepancy in bonuses and salary increases - some getting 2-3% and some 15-20%

There is absolutely no growth opportunity, people are quitting in massive numbers, the new joiners can't keep up, a lot of technical debt as well. It's just not worth it. Most recently got told we won't be paid if we don't fill mandatory timesheets everyday, which completely goes against the Payment of Wages Act 1991... The timesheets themselves are an extreme form of micro-management, we are expected to fill 7.5 hours every single day... This is counter-intuitive as what ends up happening is people over-exaggerate how long a task takes because of course no one works 7.5 hours every single day... Under this system you basically can't even go toilet, since it would require an entry... I would especially avoid this company if you are a young person, you will end up regretting it. There is absolutely no growth, barely any company events, the office is in an absolute state as well. Like I said though, it used to be a good company a few years ago but it's declining more and more each day. I kept hoping things will get better but they really aren't.
