      I loved this position... but they don't love their Co-Ops.

      Pros

      They will go out of their way for you to learn and grow both into your position and the company while you're there. They allow for inter-departmental interaction. Engineering meetings are actually useful.

      Cons

      They complain that their co-ops leave. But they only consider bachelor holders from University of Waterloo. If I had known this I would have gone elsewhere. The metallurgical lab is fast paced and entertaining work. Sadly others' objectification kills your desire to be there. After 3 consecutive co-op terms, and then with credentials and work experience, I had an interview during which I was repeatedly insulted by the lab's manager. It was nice while it lasted but I'm glad I'm not there.

      Pros

      Well it's work and it's easy once you figure it out.

      Cons

      It's an absolute nightmare employer. They don't care about there employees at all. Manditore overtime if your new but they won't tell you that till it's the day before. Machines and all run down and no proper guys to fix it. Why is the electrician programing robots? The whole place for s played by the corporate favorites and the employees that are on the good list.
