Pros

They care about their employees and the people they serve. They gave us Fridays off in the Summer Months to enjoy ourselves, they promoted from within, and were a great functioning organization with high retention rates.

Cons

They didn't pay as much.

Pros

40 years of history serving low-income Portland renters and homeowners with energy efficiency and savings services and education.

Cons

A small organization that sometimes has difficulty meeting the large needs of the community due to a lack of resources.

Pros

Management cares deeply about the team, lots of encouragement and opportunity to do professional development, and lots of encouragement to take care of our mental health during the global pandemic. Management encouraged the use of mental health days and also doubled our sick time (2 months) in response to the pandemic. Great people doing great work, in the most functional nonprofit I’ve ever worked in.

Cons

At this time I cannot think of any cons of working here.
