Pros

Great coworkers. Flexible schedule. Startup like culture. Can be lots of fun.

Cons

The management at Clockwork is obsessed with telling you how great they are and how lucky you are to work there. They always seem to be on the verge of some great new opportunity and the company seems poised to take off, as emphasized in monthly drink the kool aid meetings. But it never happens. The truth is, they pay below market rates, try whatever trendy management style they can, burn through people fast, and deny any valid criticism.

Pros

The people at Clockwork art superior! Work/life balance is very important to all. Fun place & great for families. Keg of beer there onsite.

Cons

Though it is a fun place to work and the people are great, the opportunity to advance or cross over to other skills/positions is not always available.

Pros

Visually creative workplace with clear attention put on aesthetics of the environment. Lots of perks including beer, a giant candy drawer, variety of beverages and snack, excellent coffee. Located in a great Minneapolis NE neighborhood, very bike friendly. Employees are very friendly and welcoming and incredibly smart. Fast paced, work hard, play hard work ethic with little red-tape and office politics. Some nice benefits including unlimited vacation. Work is contractual, so projects usually don't persist longer than a few months depending on the size. Regular events hosted including tech brown bags or pop up lunches. The CEO and co-founders and very capable, pleasant people to talk to.

Cons

Not much hand-holding here, it's sink or swim. It's a small building so it can be very distracting due to children running around or loud music blasting by employees during work hours. Not a place to be if you're goal is to climb the "corporate ladder".
