Terrible, Unethical Workplace

Pros

Decent Pay for the therapists

Cons

It seems that everyone who works for the company is somehow related or friends with the owners. This creates a lot of favortism and the rules do not apply to everyone. The days are long and if your client cancels, you are told to clean (clean walls, clean baseboards, etc.). This is due to the owners refusing to hire a real cleaning company. The owners will find any little reason to fire you if they do not like you. There is also a lot of fraud that happens here. Everything is about money and management does not care about their employees. It is impossible to take any time off without being punished. Very unethical place to work.

Pros

They actually care about employees. Most places want you to work if you're sick or not feeling well. They will say they don't, but will penalize you if you're out. Child's Path does not do this. They care as much about staff as they do clients. When COVID started, they worked with insurance companies so we would be able to do telehealth, then they DROVE to therapists house and left little care packages on the doorstep (some things for therapy but some for mental health - like an adult coloring book). They are very thoughtful.

Cons

Reviews are ongoing, which is ok. But this means you have to be able to self-advocate if you want a raise. It doesn't just happen at a yearly review (there isn't one).
