Pros

- Colleagues. - Free motivation to search for a better opportunity.

Cons

This company survives on promises more than performance. Employees are repeatedly given hopes of future rewards, revenue-sharing opportunities, special incentives, and long-term benefits instead of receiving compensation that reflects their actual contribution. After spending several years here, I found that salary growth and career progression were significantly below industry standards. Employees can invest years of effort only to discover that the promised future opportunities never materialize in a meaningful way. Management frequently presents the company as innovative and unique, but many of the products and features appear heavily inspired by existing e-commerce platforms. The gap between internal marketing and day-to-day reality can be frustrating for employees expecting genuine innovation. Experienced software engineers should think carefully before joining. Technical growth can stagnate due to repetitive work, excessive focus on feature replication, and limited exposure to modern engineering challenges. Ambitious developers risk falling behind the market while peers in other companies continue to grow their skills and compensation. The company appears comfortable operating with a lean budget while expecting long-term loyalty from employees. Salary hikes often fail to keep pace with employee responsibilities, inflation, or market rates. The high employee turnover should not surprise anyone. When talented people consistently leave because of compensation concerns, career stagnation, and unfulfilled expectations, leadership should treat it as feedback rather than an exception. I would recommend this company only to fresh graduates seeking their first exposure to the industry. Experienced professionals looking for competitive pay, strong technical mentorship, meaningful innovation, and transparent career growth should seriously evaluate alternative opportunities before accepting an offer.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. However, we would like to respectfully point out that this review appears to contain an inconsistency. It states “Former Employee, less than 1 year,” but also refers to spending “several years” with the company. Because of this contradiction, we are unable to clearly verify the context of the experience described. We encourage reviews to be accurate, fair, and based on genuine personal experience. We remain committed to improving employee experience and wish the reviewer the best in their future career.

Pros

The company has recently moved to a new, larger office building with good infrastructure and a better working environment. The workspace is spacious and well-structured, which improves day-to-day comfort and team collaboration. There is a strong focus on delivering work quickly and maintaining business momentum.

Cons

Testing and quality assurance are often limited due to pressure for faster delivery. There is significant pressure to complete tasks quickly to maintain the image of a larger company, which can sometimes affect product quality. Features are sometimes pushed for delivery even when there is no immediate business need or customer demand, leading to avoidable rework and inefficiency.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your comments about our new office infrastructure and work environment. At Centizen, we are focused on building strong product-based solutions, especially through ZenBasket, while balancing quality, customer needs, and timely delivery. We understand that speed should not come at the cost of proper planning, testing, or long-term product stability. Your feedback on QA, realistic timelines, and better communication is noted. We continue to improve our engineering practices, testing processes, and product planning so that our teams can deliver meaningful work with better quality and clarity. We appreciate your contribution and will continue working toward a better employee and product development experience.
