It seems that there is lack of communication, for I did not have my materials ready on my first day. Even after a week, I still did not have my employee iD badge despite submitting my photo before arriving.
I did not feel like I was trained and was immediately given a caseload. I was already being delegated as the point person receiving direct calls. However, I still was not trained on how to navigate their EMR system or their workflow.
I also felt isolated which did not help in the onboarding and training process.
